Related Lessons

In this lesson, students make observations about nature and write a letter in response. This writing activity invites students to find a “sit spot” and engage with nature, wherever they are. Then, students practice gratitude through letter writing, beginning with the prompt Dear Nature – prompts are thought-provoking, scalable to guide them through the process.Students are guided using a short video made by ECO educators and an activity sheet including thought-provoking questions and prompts.
