Nest Sweet Nest

Designed for students (and adults!) of all ages. This lesson dives into the craft of nest-building by animals big and small. First, students will learn all about why animals build nests and study examples of incredible nests around the world. Then, students have options to create a nest using a variety of materials and/or mediums, write a nest-themed poem or short story, head outdoors for a neighborhood nest scavenger hunt, or choose a combination of each.
